I think the reasons for NOT shipping the cruiser are pretty sound. How about renting a car there for some excursions and traveling by train or bus for the others?
Hahaha, it's going to take a lot to discourage me from shipping my FJ. Maybe if the hybrid Suzuki Jimny makes it to Spain and it's affordable, I might get that instead.
Renting a car once per month would cost me about the same as the monthly car note on a vehicle. I ran the numbers back in 2023 while I was still trying to decide. So the choice is really between buying a second vehicle and paying a car note + paying two sets of insurance, maintenance, etc........ OR shipping my FJ and having no car note and only one set of payments for insurance and maintenance.
