What To Do If Your Flight Gets Delayed or Canceled

I definitely made a few mistakes.

In my last post, I shared that American Airlines delayed my flight multiple times. My connection in Dallas then left early, so I almost didn’t make it home that night. I begged to be rerouted to San Diego, rented a car, and then drove three hours home. I got in at 1:30 AM … on a work night.

There are a lot of things I would have done differently. But, I did the best I could on such short notice — much better than American Airlines did. If you find yourself in a similar situation, here are some options to consider.
