This week, Jasmine’s wheels finally crossed the Western “border” and into Texas. We’re officially on our way home and have put the West in our rearview mirror. I hadn’t passed through Texas since the summer of 2020 when I first took off, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, for the West.
It feels so strange to be back in the world of southern drawls and humidity. Especially after clawing my way out of here and vowing never to come back in 2020.
Moving west was no small feat.
