Last week, I shared that I’m returning to school for a tech degree to get ahead of this AI revolution. One of the things I warned about is that bots cannot be trusted. They lie when they don’t understand something, and they lie for fun.

Two days after sharing this with you guys, an article popped up on my feed from Washington Post. An attorney was at risk of losing his license after asking Chat GPT to do research for his case.

It was brilliant research!

But Chat GPT made up every single case cited.

When the lawyer asked Chat GPT if it was sure the information was correct, it said yes, and he trusted it. This is just another real-world example of what I mean when I say businesses that think bots can replace humans will pay for it.
