Málaga is a beautiful city by the sea in the South of Spain. It attracts a large population of expatriates and tourists, which makes it a lot different from other areas in the region. For example, English is commonly spoken, and the population is much more diverse.
Is it the best city for your next trip? Or maybe even a big move? Here's what I've learned so far.
Transportation
Málaga is a walkable city, especially if you live in El Centro. This is the downtown area, close to the beach. The cobblestone streets are beautiful and lively, with restaurants, bars, and cafes on every corner.
Owning a car. Finding parking is a nightmare, and the spaces are incredibly tiny. I would only recommend this if you plan to stay outside of town. Ever wondered why European cars are so small? Now you know!
