Here's How Well Starlink Worked [Or Didn't!] in Mexico
I'll also tell you what my ulterior motives were.
When I talked about taking the Starlink to Mexico, I did say I had ulterior motives. I’ll share that today. But first, let’s finally take a look at how well Elon’s satellite worked — or didn’t — in Baja California, Mexico.
The Setup Process
Setting up the Starlink in California wasn’t easy. So, I had a feeling it would give me a fight in Mexico — and it did. It took me about 40 minutes of toying with it before I finally got it to work.
In the end, it did connect, but the signal was unreliable. A few minutes after connecting, it kicked me off again.
The speeds I got were also extremely varied. I think it would be enough for me to work from Mexico, but I would never trust it for a job interview or sitting exams.
