Here's How I've Been Spending My Time in the Atlanta 'Burbs
It was a rough start, but it's grown on me!

Going from full-time adventuress to suburban resident is not for the faint of heart. The first week was rough. I hated the traffic, the mud, and the ever-present bugs. I missed the mountains, the desert, and the beach. I asked myself more than once whether it wouldn’t have been better to spend at least a week or two traveling to my favorite places before heading East.
In the end, though, I’m glad I came early. I’ve spent the time pouring elbow grease on all the things that drove me nuts about the property, and I’ve had valuable time with family and friends.
Here’s what I’ve been up to since taking the RV back home for the first time in four years.
I Renovated the Travel Trailer
Since the first day I bought my tiny home on wheels, people have asked me to give a tour. I never have. The main reason is my RV has always been a work in progress—overcome with far more brown than I cared to see. Over the years, I’ve chipped away at that brown, and it’s finally looking “shareable”.
To appreciate the progress, though, you definitely need to see the start. Here’s what Jasmine looked like when I bought her:
