Traveling full-time is an endless adventure filled with ups and downs. When it’s good, it’s great. But when things go wrong? It can be a nightmare.
Maybe you left your only laptop charger at a hotel and realize just as you’re about to begin your workday a thousand miles away. Or maybe you just now realize you should have stopped for gas at that last exit … 50 miles back.
I took off across America with my 22-foot trailer on a brand-new license. So, I always thought my night-time worries before big trips was just a me-thing.
To be clear, I don’t have “clinical” anxiety. I don’t become overwhelmed or have panic attacks while my life flashes before my eyes. I mean, quite simply, that my brain won’t shut up.
As I shared last week, I realized it wasn’t just me when a lady with a decades-old license knocked on my door. Here’s how she helped me and what else has worked for me since then.
