Living in two countries is an incredible experience―especially when they share a border. However, it can get expensive. One of the most significant expenses is maintaining auto and RV insurance in both the U.S. and Mexico. Some Americans choose not to insure their RVs in Mexico because they no longer drive them. But, for those of us who go back and forth, we need liability coverage, at the very least.

RV insurance is one of the most affordable policies I have ever owned. It generally costs less than your homeowner's and auto insurance but typically costs more than your renter's insurance.
Most people I know pay hundreds of dollars per year for their insurance. I have held RV insurance in three states.
