A Roadside Assistance Guide for Full-Time Travelers
Whether you bike or tow, I recommend roadside assistance.
Let me start by saying this is not an ad. While I do recommend getting roadside assistance, I don't recommend any particular brand. I chose AAA because that's the company I knew and what other family members used. Because I have never called AAA or used its services, I have no firsthand experience with its customer service and follow-through.

What Is Roadside Assistance?
Roadside assistance is a service that sends professionals to help you resolve issues with your vehicle. This can include the following:
Delivering fuel
Providing locksmith services
Recharging or jump-starting your battery
Changing a flat tire
Towing you to the nearest shop
A roadside assistance service exists for virtually anything that could prevent you from driving your vehicle. However, the specific services covered by your plan will depend on the company and the policy you buy.
